What to expect and how to order your uniform bundle

As part of your child's transition in to Year 7, all new starters are issued with a free bundle of Outwood uniform, consisting of:

  • 1 blazer

  • 2 white shirts

  • 1 pair black trousers or skirt

  • 1 tie

  • 1 PE rugby top

  • 1 PE polo top

  • 1 PE shorts

  • 1 PE socks

Deadline is 28th May 2021 to complete the uniform bundle order form

There is support on the Trutex website for ensuring that you select the right size uniform for your child, including videos available via the following link

Please complete one order form per child. This will then be checked against the list of new Year 7 starters that we have been provided by the Local Authority to ensure that we have one order for every child we are expecting to start in September 2021.

  • Collection Event 30th July 11am until 2.30pm approx.

  • Exchange Event 9th August 11am until 5.30pm approx.


Once the order has been approved by Trutex, the uniform bundles will be delivered to Outwood Academy Danum and must be collected on the date and times specified.

Uniform must be taken home that day and your child needs to try this on. There will be a returns day afterwards, again at Outwood Academy Danum, where any items that need swapping must be returned.

If an item is out of stock on the return day, you will be advised whether this will be posted to your home address by Trutex or available to collect from the Academy .

Please be aware that during these events, social distancing measures will be in place. To support us in distributing uniform safely, please follow the direction of staff on the day and ensure that only one adult accompanies any student to collect uniform.
