Mrs Stanton

Learning Manager Year 7

My main role is to make sure you all settle well in school, make new friends and enjoy and succeed in lessons.

You will see me often around the Academy guiding and encouraging students to be the best they can be.

If you see me on the corridor please say hi and introduce yourself, it may take me a while to remember everyone’s names.

Look forward to our time together in September.

Mrs McCardle

Learning Manager Year 8

I started working at Danum in October 2017.

I worked as a Teaching Assistant and thoroughly enjoyed my time in the classroom helping students.

I am now a Learning Manager where I could help students further.

I am currently the year 8 Learning Manager and enjoy seeing and working with the whole year group.

Miss Southgate

Learning Manager Year 9

As a Learning Manager you will see me around school and in lessons.

You will also see me at break and lunch times. If you have any questions or concerns and you see me I'm always happy to help.

Learning Manager Year 10

Hello, my name is Mrs Moore and I am currently the year 10 learning manager.

I spend a lot of my time on duty around school especially during breaks and lunch times. Please come over and say hello if you see me!

Learning Manager Year 11

My name is Mrs King and I am currently the year 11 Learning Manager.

You will see me out and about around school, especially during breaks and lunch times. I am always happy to help and love to chat to students so please come and ask if you need anything at all.

Mrs Corkan

Learning Manager Year 12 & 13

My name is Mrs Corkan and I am the Sixth Form Learning Manager.

I spend a lot of my time helping and guiding the Sixth Form students. However, you will see me around school at break/lunch time and you can ask me for help at any time.

I want to make sure that you are safe and enjoying your time at school.

I help them with their language skills and enable them to integrate into lessons!

Mrs Aspinall

SEND Officer

Hi my name is Mrs Aspinall, I am the SEND Officer at Outwood Academy Danum.

I look forward to getting to know you all in the new school year.

I am here to help SEN pupils who are having any problems or need extra help in lessons. I will meet with you and your parents/carers for regular SEN Meetings every term to put plans and targets in place.
